The
VX-246 heavy duty PMR446 transceiver provides 500 mW ERP of power
for reliable two-way communications within a two-mile radius depending
upon terrain. The radio can be programmed using the front panel keypad,
by means of a PC based software programmer or cloned from another
VX-246 using the CT-27 clone cable kit
The Vertex VX-246 is a PMR446 radio and does not require a licence for use.
